How to Deal with Dizziness During Pregnancy?

Dizziness is common in women during pregnancy. This feeling is due to many reasons - pressure on blood vessels caused by the enlarging uterus, and the need to eat more food.

The Womenshealth.gov website suggested tips on how to reduce dizziness during pregnancy:

  1. Stand up slowly.
  2. Try not to stand for long periods.
  3. Don't skip regular meals.
  4. Lie down on your left side when resting.
  5. Wear loose-fitted clothing.

Once you felt dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to lie down, sit or just stop what you are doing in the current moment. If you won’t stop and rest, you might risk full out fainting. Just relax for a moment and try to relieve yourself of the dizziness during pregnancy.
